Do I need MCP Manager to use AcrossAI Pro?
Yes. AcrossAI Pro is a premium plugin that extends the free MCP Manager host plugin. Install and activate MCP Manager first, then install AcrossAI Pro on top — the plugin refuses to activate without MCP Manager and shows a clear message.
Which AI clients are supported?
Claude (web, desktop, Design, Code), ChatGPT (web, desktop, mobile, Atlas), Grok (web, desktop, mobile, on X), Gemini (web and mobile), and Cursor (in-editor, same paste-URL flow). The same one-click flow works across all five.
How do I actually connect an AI client?
Open the Generate tab in MCP Manager, copy your MCP URL, then in the AI client go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL (leave Advanced OAuth fields empty), click Add and Connect, and approve the consent screen on your WordPress site.
What’s the access-control layer for?
Beyond the five AI connectors, AcrossAI Pro contributes ten access-control providers — MemberPress, LearnDash Group, LifterLMS Membership, Paid Memberships Pro, Restrict Content Pro, WooCommerce Memberships, s2Member Level, Wishlist Member Level, Memberium, and BuddyBoss Profile Type. Each appears automatically in MCP Manager’s “Who can access” dropdown when its host plugin is active, so you can gate MCP tools by any membership level, group, or profile type you already sell.
How do I revoke access if I need to?
From the Connections tab you can Revoke tokens (kill a client’s tokens but keep it), Delete client (remove it entirely), or Revoke from all servers (a site-wide kill switch). You can also disable the connector in Settings, which instantly revokes every active token.
Can I require approval before someone connects?
Yes. Turn on “Require admin approval for new connections” in Settings — a user must be pre-approved before they can complete the OAuth consent flow. Administrators bypass this and are auto-added on first connection.
How is a “site” counted?
A site is one production WordPress install (one domain). Local and staging environments of a licensed site don’t count against your total.
