v0.4.2 — a listing about what your AI can do

A rewritten plugin listing and six new screenshots. No change to how the plugin works — if you are on 0.4.1 you already have every feature described here, and there is nothing to do after updating.

The 0.4.1 listing led with how this plugin relates to MCP Adapter. That is the engine's story rather than the visitor's: someone arriving from a search for "connect Claude to WordPress" had to read three sections about a library before reaching anything their AI would actually do on their site. The listing now opens on the abilities and the one-click connectors, and earns the architecture section at the end.

What changed

  • Improved: rewrote the plugin listing around what your AI can actually do on the site, instead of leading with how the plugin relates to MCP Adapter.
  • Added: real use cases with links, ability counts for each plugin integration, and an explanation of why your AI sees about a dozen tools when there are 357 abilities.
  • Added: sections on controlling every ability, and on reproducing a plugin conflict without writing to active_plugins.
  • New: six screenshots of the ability controls — the abilities table, the override drawer, bulk actions, the Ability Library, Add-ons and abilities settings.
  • Tidied: shortened the FAQ and replaced the questions that only restated the description.
  • Note: listing and documentation only. No code, settings or database change.

Notes

  • Nothing to do after updating. No settings change, no reconnecting, no database change, and no migration step.
  • Ability counts per integration are now on the listing: Elementor 89, Yoast SEO 64, Rank Math 61, LiteSpeed Cache 61, WooCommerce 34, and the rest.
  • The listing now answers the most common question it never addressed — why an AI client sees about a dozen tools when the catalogue holds 357 abilities. Abilities are grouped into toolsets, and each toolset is one tool with discover, info and execute actions.
