The Add-ons page (under AcrossAI → Add-ons) is where you extend the plugin with companion tools that work alongside it.
What you’ll find
- AcrossAI MCP Manager — connects your site to AI clients (Claude, VS Code, Copilot and more) over MCP, using secure application passwords.
- AcrossAI Model Manager — choose which AI model each ability uses, set time limits, and review a log of every AI request.
- Turn Off AI Features — switch off WordPress’s AI features entirely, without touching code.
Installing an add-on
Each add-on shows an Install button and a More info link. Add-ons hosted on WordPress.org install and activate right here in place. Add-ons distributed elsewhere open on the provider’s site so you can download them and add them through Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
Good to know: every companion plugin is optional. AcrossAI Abilities Manager works perfectly on its own — add-ons simply unlock more.
